The “Must Knows”

Before we can start anything, there are a few things we need to understand about your new project. This is to establish the baseline for the overall project….

Have a think about – Your Budget; Your Specifications & Quality of Fit-out; Expected Timeline.


Don’t worry if you haven’t finalised your design; we can put you in touch with our preferred architect and designer. Or simply work with you in establishing your design and provide you with a design concept drawing.

If you already have plans, specifications and permits approved – Great! It’s now time to set up a meeting to discuss your project with you and the processes to move forward.

Planning & Building Permits

If your need help here. Leave it to us. We will prepare all the necessary documentation and reports required to submit to Council. We will work with Council in order to expedite the process in a timely manner.

Detailed Costing

With all the information we now have at hand, we can prepare a detailed costing report for your project. Another meeting will then be arranged to step through this figure and inclusions with you, so everyone has a complete understanding of the budget from the beginning.


By this time, you will now have full knowledge of what your dream home is going to look like and what it’s going to cost. So now is the time to sign a Contract to proceed with your project. This is nothing to be apprehensive about as the Contract is simply some written guidelines that have been agreed to by the Owner and the Builder and offers both parties some assurances.

At RAM Construction, we prefer to use an industry recognised contract model designed by the Master Builders Association of Victoria. This keeps the contract impartial.


All your hard work is now going to be implemented…. we can now start building. Let the construction commence!

Every stage of construction will be captured on a Project management/tracking software tool with a copy issued to you. At every stage we will ensure is completed to the highest quality and in compliance with your plans and specifications.

A simplified breakdown of the build process is: –

Upon reaching practical completion; we will walk you through your new home to step through the operation of all appliances, ensuring you are happy with the fittings and finishes and all other aspects of the construction.

Your new home is now complete and we are ready to formally hand it back to you to enjoy for many years to come.


All our workmanship is covered by our 10 year builders warranty insurance so you have added peace of mind.
